Harvest Moon Newsletter

Aloha Ohana,

I value all of you so deeply for following along on our journey together. I hope to create things which bring you closer to your peace and joy.

This newsletter can have a lot going on, but the most important thing is this. Gratitude for the harvest. We have just passed the Fall Equinox and the Harvest Moon is upon us. It is time for us to all harvest this season in two ways, one is through honor and gratitude and the other is through intention for next season's rest.

We are encouraged to take five minutes, to reflect, grab a pen and paper and write down three things which we are harvesting this season.

For me I am harvesting a Virgo New Moon process I have started: to take a few minutes after lunch each day to check in with my inner child. A process which has led me to beautiful moments of discovery, like the one I wrote about in Tiny Shells. Another, I am harvesting is community, I am starting to show up more for our community on the island. Through men's groups, lunar gatherings, and sharing our harvest from the land. Finally, I am harvesting my a lightness of doing the work I need to get done and sharing my work with the world on a podcast on Spotify: A Way of Being.

The harvest is what lives inside of us. We don't just harvest and are done. We consume what we harvest throughout the season and it becomes a part of us. Whatever you write down, read it, say it aloud, share it with a close friend, or with our community in the comments below.

P.S. If something in you is circling a hard part right now, unsure how to begin looking at it, that's exactly the kind of work I sit with people in. Not to fix it for you. Just to be there while you find your own way back to it, a little at a time.

Book a session, and let's begin wherever you are.

A Way of Being — New Moon in Virgo

Every rhythm starts the same way for me. Not with a plan, not with a calendar, but with one small daily return. A bite of ice cream after lunch. A few minutes at the beach looking for something tiny.

Tiny Shells

Lining up these shells, I notice something. My hands know this motion. I did this before, a long time before this beach, before this friend, before I had any language for what I was doing.
